Ice Hill Turnpike Installment

As you are riding along Ice Hill Trail, you will come across a low boggy area that is wet in the spring and has significant rutting. This section of trail is subject to tail braiding from riders creating new paths in order to stay out of the wet muddy area. For this project we will be installing a turnpike to elevate the trail out of this muddy section, while also narrowing this section bringing it back to its original singletrack width.
Come join us and help us improve Ice Hill Trail. We will need about 10-20 volunteers to help us with this effort. This project will take about 3 days.
We will start at the Ice Hill Trail Head at 9am each morning for a safety briefing and instructions. Please bring your own lunch, snacks and plenty of water.
HTA will provide hard hats, and gloves and eye protection if needed. (Personal sunglasses or glasses work fine).
