Buffalo Creek Bridge Improvements

HTA is partnering with the Boettcher Scholarship Foundation and the US Forest Service to help put the finishing touches on a bridge constructed last summer on Buffalo Creek Trail. This will be a two-day project and the work-site is only steps from the trailhead. We will be widening the approaches in and out of the new bridge to accommodate equestrian travel. These improvements will allow pack strings of horses to easily access the bridge and cross the creek. If time allows, we will also do some much-needed drainage updates further up the trail. We are in need of volunteers to help dig and remove materials from the entrance and exit of the bridge.
