Byers Peak

Join HTA and the USFS for this epic trail improvement project on Byers Peak. For this project we will be working on the lower portion of the trail. This section of trail tends to be steep with water that flows directly down the trail. We will be installing steps and check dams and drainages. This will improve the sustainability of the trail and keeping the trail dry and creating a better hiking experience.
This will be a great opportunity to have administrative access passed the closed gate on the road leading towards the trailhead.
