Columbine Turnpike Turnpike Resurfacing Project

HTA is joining the USFS to resurface a large turnpike on the Columbine Lake Trail. This is a two day project with a chance to camp out over night in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. We will be gathering native soil to cover sharp rocks on the turnpike to increase trail user safety and make for easier travel along the trail. We are in need of helping hands to gather materials to the sight and to beautify the turnpike.
