Grand County National Public Lands Day

Join us for Grand County's 25th year of participating in the largest single-day volunteer effort for America's public lands! Grand County hosts the largest and the longest-running National Public Lands Day in the Nation.
Registration begins at 7 am at the Inn at SilverCreek with a continental breakfast. Volunteers will be transported to the worksite of their choice (6 volunteer projects to choose from). End the day with a catered dinner, music and awards ceremony with giveaways and door prizes for volunteers.
Volunteer projects include a river cleanup on the Colorado River with the BLM, Trail improvements in the Phases Trail System with the BLM and HTA, Sherman Creek trail improvements with the USFS, Turnpike installment on Serendipity Trail with HTA, and East Shore Trail improvements with NPS and HTA.
