High-Lonesome (Junco to DT) with CDTC

HTA is looking forward to partnering again with our friends at the Continental Divide Trail Coalition to perform basic maintenance on the High-Lonesome Trail. The area we will be focusing on will be from the Junco Lake TH to the Devil's Thumb Trail intersection. This project will entail cutting down and hazard trees from the trail, updating drainage features, and improving wetland crossings. This trail is very popular among hikers and bikers alike and is a critical connection point on the greater Continental Divide Trail. This will be a three-day project and volunteers are needed to assist in tree removal, debris cleanup, and drainage construction.
