Junco Cabin Boardwalk Repair Project

Headwaters Trails Alliance is partnering with The Continental Divide Trail Coalition to replace a 50-80ft boardwalk that was installed over 15 years ago and is now deamed as unsafe for travelers. This boardwalk is located one quarter of a mile walk from the Junco Cabin Trailhead, one of the busiest trailheads in the County. We are in need of volunteers to help build and install a new elevated boardwalk in replace of the old rotted one. We will also need help installing signs along the CDT in the area. This project is projected to take 2 or 3 days and free camping accommodations will be available for volunteers Friday and Saturday nights.  Meals are provided, (including dinner for those who decide to camp Friday night).
