National Public Lands Day
September 25, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Grand County’s 27th annual National Public Lands Day is the largest and longest-running NPLD event in the country. This will be our largest and most productive volunteer day of the season with five specific projects throughout the county. There will be one project on Forest Service Land, two on BLM Lands, and one project on a town trail. Forest service projects will include a Turnpike on Lower Creekside. BLM will include one project re-routing the Lower section of .25 in the Phases and another for river cleanup outside of Kremmling. The town project will include a Stewardship Ambassador Training and a trail reclamation project on the Fraser to Granby Trail. There will also be a basic trail maintenance project with the National Park on the Tonahutu Trail. You can sign up for projects using the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdMNOsJ51gEqZXgf-JVebB_a7dCLy0Xtrm2OdVKtaCaTTutyw/viewform?fbclid=IwAR1nxEXGbOBwHkE1bIcLCyFG9TquJcpFnuuL-zWA7C0-JiHN-cFYpxLtT2Q.
Projects will be followed by a family-friendly picnic with Live Music in Polhamus Park in Granby at 4:30 PM!
