National Trails Day with HTA-Meadowridge Trail construction

June 4, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

National Trails Day is a nationwide celebration created by American Hiking Society. It is a celebration of trails and an opportunity for Americans to experience our country's 200,000+ miles of trails. To celebrate, Headwaters Trails Alliance will be hosting a trail building event in Fraser, CO. We will be constructing the Meadowridge trail, a pedestrian trail connecting the Fraser River Trail to the top of the hill by Meadowridge.  This will be a continuation of a project we started this past fall. Come join us for a beautiful day outside! You will get a chance to learn some basic trail building skills, as well as get hands on experience with the beautiful view of the Fraser River valley.

Please meet at the HTA office in Fraser at 9am for a safety briefing. We will provide gloves and tools for all volunteers. Please be prepared with long pants and closed toe shoes. We will provide snacks and beverages for after the work day. Please bring a sack lunch and plenty of water. Also, please be prepared with the changing weather in the mountains!
Please RSVP for this event by emailing Erica at [email protected] or by calling HTA at (970)726-1013.
