National Trails Day-Phases Trail Improvements

National Trails Day is a Nation wide celebration of the outdoors created by American Hiking Society. It is a celebration of trails and an opportunity for Americans to experience our country's 200,000+ miles of trails. This is a wonderful day to give back to the trails. Join Headwaters Trails Alliance as we improve a section of trail retouting to make a fun recreational experience, while making the trail sustainable.
For this project we will need volunteer help to improve and enhance a new section of trail built last fall of 2016 as well as kiosk sign development and trail head development.
We will provide snacks and beverages for after the work day. Please bring a sack lunch and plenty of water.
We will provide gloves and tools for all volunteers. Please be prepared with long pants and closed toe shoes.
Also, please be prepared with the changing weather in the mountains!
Meet us at the HTA office at 120 Zerex Street in Fraser at 9am and we will caravan to the worksite.
