
National Trails Day Volunteer Training

Do you like to enjoy the trails of Grand County, but wonder how you can give back? Do you see issues on the trail and wonder who to report them to? Are you a current volunteer that would like to brush up on your trail maintenance skills? Join Headwaters Trails Alliance for their annual volunteer and Adopt-A-Trail Training on Natainal Trails Day Saturday, June 1st. Grand County has 1000 miles of trails and we need your help to maintain them!
Our trail volunteers are a vital part of the upkeep of these vast trail systems! Learn the skills on how to become a trail adopter, and a trail volunteer with HTA and benefit the trails that we love and enjoy!
We will teach basic trail maintenance skills, how to report what you see in the field including an introduction and tutorial to COTREX, a new statewide trail app you can get on your computer, tablet and mobile devices.
