National Trails Day

Come celebrate National Trails Day with Headwaters Trails Alliance and the Bureau of Land Management as we work on the enhancement of the Trails System in the Phases area in off of Strawberry Road in Tabernash. We need up to 25 volunteers help us enhance the Salad Bowl Trail. For this project we will be clearing branches and vegetation from the corridor, improving drainages through muddy sections on the trail, and enhancing the trail tread with rocks, berms, and enhanced turns. This project will be a part of a management plan for the area enhancing the opportunities for hiking and biking, while increasing the sustainability of the trails. This project will be a great way to kick off the field season of trail projects! Lunch will be provided by Wild Horse Catering! Stay until the end and help enjoy some donated beer from Hideaway Park Brewery!
We will meet at the Bottom of the Bowl Trailhead off of Strawberry road (Also Fraser Canyon Trail Access parking area) at 9am.
