Strawberry Bridges

Join HTA, the Rocky Mountain Conservation Corps, and the US Forest Service to help construct a series of bridges in the Strawberry Creek Trail System. This will be a four-day project and the work-site is about 2.5 miles from the trailhead. We will be constructing a new bridge on Strawberry West Trail and replacing two old bridges on Strawberry Creek Trail. The construction of a new bridge will help easily connect Strawberry West to Strawberry Creek by spanning a creek where there currently is no defined crossing. The replacement of the two older bridges will help mitigate the immediate hazards presented by their damaged nature. We are in need of volunteers to help with this large-scale project and improve the experience of trail users in the area.
