Grand County's 28th Annual National Public Lands Day

Saturday, September 24th, 2022 8 am-6 pm

Grand County, Colorado Public Lands (Specific Project Sites TBD)

Grand County’s 28th annual National Public Lands Day is the largest and longest-running NPLD event in the country. This will be our largest and most productive volunteer day of the season with multiple projects throughout the county. There will be projects spanning multiple different land management agencies including the US Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and a local municipality. The USFS Project will involve Post Fire Recovery work reconstructing structures that burned in the East Troublesome Fire in the Stillwater Pass area. Other specific projects have yet to be determined and registration forms have yet to be released. Please mark your calendars for now and we look forward to seeing you there!

Projects will be followed by a family-friendly picnic with Live Music in Polhamus Park in Granby at 4:30 PM!
